Ariana Grande Is So Into … Her Wicked Co-star Ethan Slater
It appears that she did reserve a dance for him. After divorcing her husband Dalton Gomez, Ariana Grande is now dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, according to TMZ and People. According to a source with People, the couple started dating "recently." The date of Slater's divorce from singer Lilly Jay, with whom he had a child last year, is unknown.
Their connection deviates a little from the Wicked plot; in that musical, Slater's Munchkin character Boq has an unrequited infatuation on Grande's attractive, well-liked Glinda. Since Slater made his name as SpongeBob in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical and Grande got her start on Victorious, it's also a type of inter-Nickelodeon collaboration for the two celebrities. One could argue that they deserve one another.
A fresh development in Grande's breakup with Gomez, which was just recently disclosed, is her new romance. According to sources, the couple faced difficulties while Grande was filming Wicked in London since Gomez, a real estate agent, chose to remain in Los Angeles. She apparently split up with Gomez earlier this year, and it's been at least April since she last wore her wedding band. (They tied the knot in May 2021).
Grande and Slater were photographed seated next to each other in March, with Slater appearing to have his arm around her as they celebrated co-star Michelle Yeoh's Oscar victory. Although the stars may no longer participate in interviews, we seem to believe that the Wicked movie will continue to receive a lot of publicity.
